Bill Gates attempted to DJ last night and it was awful

Why, Bill, why?

Microsoft owner Bill Gates is having quite a time of it in music at the moment. First Beyoncé name-checked him in 'Formation' and now he's had a go at DJing. We do wish the latter never happened, though.

Bill and wife Melinda were on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, speaking about their Annual Letter from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and, unfortunately for us, 'Mr Microsoft' decided to get behind the decks.

Now, we're all for their foundation's good cause - raising awareness of poverty, health and education - but Bill 'scratching' vinyl? Come on.

This year's letter was aimed at teenagers, so you can see why they decided to go down the dance music route (the amount of money EDC Las Vegas makes proves its popularity) but they could have at least pulled in some 'ravers' that actually looked over the age of 16.

As if the wax spinning wasn't cringe enough, Gates even decided to get on the dancefloor, FFS. And yes, we do realise it's obviously a piss-take, but it still makes us wince.

Almost as embarrassing as this anti-drug campaign from Electric Zoo, you can watch the video below.
