Berghaus presents ‘Locals’, a second offering from the Dean Street collection

Following the success of last year’s Dean Street collection, Berghaus is back with a second helping for SS20 that delves deeper into the brand’s rich archive.

Reworking classic styles from the 70s, 80s and 90s, this unisex collection comes in playful colour palettes and fresh Aztec prints across light outerwear, summer shorts and essential layering pieces.

This season’s look book, entitled ‘Locals’, was shot by fashion and portrait photographer Danny Lowe and styled by Jordan Dean Schneider. All new faces featured in the look book were street cast on location and ‘Locals’ documents a day in the life of four teenagers living in rural Britain who, despite the current political climate, live carefree, spirited and fearless.

The result is a youthful, nostalgic approach to Spring Summer styling set against a backdrop of Northumberland towns.

Key pieces in the collection include the Ascent 76 Jacket, a piece inspired by the strong colour blocking and detailing from the 90’s Berghaus range, along with staple pieces including the Prism Printed Fleece and Caatinga Shorts.

Last season’s favourites such as the Tempest 89 and Ski Smock 86 are offered in a new array of colourways suitable for the season change, from bold spring tones to muted summer pastels.

The Dean Street collection is available on Berghaus.com, ASOS and Urban Outfitters, with prices ranging from £25 - £200.
