Berghain garden will reopen this weekend

Berghain will re-open its garden this weekend for the first time in 9 months.

Kicking off at 1:PM on Saturday, July 10 ‘Klubgarten’ will feature sets from Etapp Kyle, Freddy K, Paramida, Ben Klock and Gabrielle Kwarteng.

Attendees must have proof of vaccination, a negative test or have recovered from COVID-19 in recent months. They must also wear an FFP2-type mask while in the queue and be scanned as attending - which isn’t a guarantee of entry.

The garden will also only open in dry weather.

In a statement on their website, Berghain said: “281 days later and we meet again in a garden. From this Saturday on, weather permitting, we will open our outdoor dancefloor with DJs every weekend.”

“Based loosely on the motto of a great American DJ philosopher: We keep on dancing and prancing! Things kick off by sets from our Ukrainian Berghain resident Etapp Kyle, marathon human and techno activist of the first hour Freddy K, as well as Panorama Bar resident Paramida. Dancing for a better tomorrow.”

“Only in dry weather. For your and everyone's protection against droplet infection and aerosols, hygiene measures are ensured in Klubgarten. Admission only for people vaccinated, recovered or tested negative within less than 24 hours.”

Next weekend looks set to host Gerd Janson, Roman Flügel, Steffi and Virginia.
