Beni asks 'Whatcha Wanna Do' on new track
The Sydney scene stalwart returns with his first original since 2015
Long-time Australian scene player Beni is back with a seductive new acid-infused house cut.
'Whatcha Wanna Do' features playful vocals from former The Rapture bassist Mattie Safer and is the first original music from the Sydney producer since 2015's 'Another You,' having collaborated with Pantheon on ‘Alright’ last year.
Alongside the original mix, there's also a dub version of the latest track, to be released on OneLove, with remixes from James Curd, LA producer Craig Williams, Revolver resident Silversix and local duo Oakland Modes.
Beni started out as one half of Riot In Belgium and DJ Damage in Sydney's Bang Gang crew during a golden era for Australian electronic music in the late 2000s and has put out a stack of solid releases since then on Modular and Kitsune.
