Ben Sims Presents Ron Bacardi

UK techno badman Ben Sims is doing a lot with his Ron Bacardi alias, a disco-infused release on Mr Tophat and Art Alfie's KLRVK had us in a spin earlier this year and now big Ron's back with this EP on Bass Culture. More disco rhythms come forth alongside 'Rock Your Body', a rock solid roller with a simmering, snarling bassline. A haunting vocal weaves in and out of the background as the steady beats march forward. There's a slight hint of drum n bass in there, some dark side No U-Turn kinda bass, analogue roughness.
