The BBC has announced it'll broadcast a three-part documentary series chronicling the career of Nile Rodgers.

Nile Rodgers: Lost In Music traces the disco legend’s work and its impact on music from his Chic days through to his numerous collaborations with the biggest names in music. Sister Sledge and Avicii are among those interviewed.

Rodgers himself will also be on-screen as it takes viewers “through the creative process of making a hit record”.

Rodgers said: “This series’ attention to detail is comprehensive, we looked back through the decades with real curiosity, picking out moments and actions that seemed frivolous at the time, but had a huge impact on the music we made."

The series will air on BBC Four in April.
