Bandcamp launches new weekly radio show for electronic music
Electronic Radio, hosted by DJ, producer and broadcaster Emily Dust, launched last month
Bandcamp has launched a brand new weekly radio show focusing on electronic music, titled Electronic Radio.
The new show expands Bandcamp Radio’s existing programme, which also includes regular Bandcamp Selects shows showcasing music from independent artists, as well as those focusing on hip hop, metal and more.
Electronic Radio airs weekly, and is hosted by DJ, producer and radio host Emily Dust, who also heads up her own critically acclaimed podcast show Dances For Buildings.

The electronic-focused show launched on February 25 with special guests Nathan Fake and Electric Indigo, and debuted alongside another new addition to Bandcamp Radio’s programme – an indie show hosted by journalist Mariana Timony.
“One of the things we pride ourselves on here at Bandcamp is human curation,” Bandcamp said alongside the announcement last month. “Discovery happens on Bandcamp because music fans are recommending music they love to other music fans.”
“We’re happy to announce the addition of two new radio shows, kicking off Wednesday, February 25 with a new electronic music show hosted by Emily Dust.”

Alongside the announcement, Bandcamp revealed that it will also host a new quarterly show dedicated to video game music, hosted by Bandcamp Daily’s Editor Zoe Camp.
So far, Electronic Radio has hosted conversations with DJ Marfox and Scratcha DVA, speaking on influences, creative processes, and the “evolving landscape of electronic music”.
