Baltra has released a brand new acid-tinged track called ‘Brush Strokes’.
The track is taken from his new and forthcoming mixtape ‘Where I End’ which is due for release on January 20th via 96 And Forever Records and includes those distinctive vocal loops for which he’s fast become synonymous with.
Talking about this “head-down groover” specifically, Baltra said: "’Brush Strokes’ was primarily groove-focused from the point of conception, with the main focus being the bounciness of all its parts. The vocal chops were cut in such a way to create space for the track's other elements so that they could co-exist in a meaningful manner without feeling diminished.”
Baltra is currently on a worldwide tour, which kicked off at the end of September in India before rolling through Australia, New Zealand and the United States for a string of 11 dates before the end of the year.
The tour ends on January 20th with a date at Paragon in Brooklyn, New York; he’s also at Art Basel in Miami at Tribeca on December 2nd.
