Four years since the viral madness of ‘Harlem Shake’, trap producer Baauer has been busy crafting a consistently high-energy debut album full of diverse collaborations.

M.I.A. is on top form throughout the deceivingly meditative ‘Temple’, with some help from K-pop megastar G-Dragon; Pusha T and Future work together to chop up the competition on ‘Kung Fu’; ‘Way From Me’, with Tirzah, is addictive yet teasing; and ‘Make It Bang’ steers towards Jersey club, riding over TT The Artist’s lively flow. But it’s the apocalpytic onslaught of ‘GoGo!’, with its clattering synths and unforgiving bass, and the fired-up battle cry of ‘Day Ones’, featuring US rapper Leikeli47 and Lewisham grime star Novelist, that deliver the most damage.
