B.A.D.S. (House Of Ties Remix)
We've had this one on repeat, you will too
When B.A.D.S exploded into our ears last November, we could hardly contain our excitement. On the face of it the triple threat team of Radio Slave, Spencer Parker and Mr Ties is an absolute match made in heaven and their first offering was good as expected.
'Hous-O-Matik Hom-O-Patik' was made especially to play at Francesco de Nittis aka Mr Ties' incredible Homopatik party and not only did it become a regular at the ://about blank event, it got released officially via Rekids and found its way into the record bags of some of the biggest DJs in the world.
Having been to Mr Ties' monthly event, we can safely say that the vibe is pretty un-matched in Berlin. If you're after a tongue-in-cheek yet gritty rave that showcases exceptional music and great, unannounced selectors, this should be your go-to.
Now the track has been given two remixes from two members of B.A.D.S (Berlin Amateur Dramatics Society) and Parker and Ties have made the track even better. Parker goes down the trippy yet hard-hitting techno route while De Nittis has donned his House Of Ties alias for a house-rework that laughs in the face of seriousness.
The remix features some outrageous saxophone riffs courtesy of F. Montefiori, big rumbling basslines and pauses that leave you dumbstruck and pining for more. Of course once the track does drop, it's an absolute stomper and one that we can see Ties dancing around to with a giant smile slapped across his face. In fact, the same goes for Spencer Parker in terms of the massive grin.
It's a gorgeously fun re-imagining of a track that's already got 10/10 written all over it and if there's a waiting list to get into B.A.D.S. then we need to be on it now.
Where do we sign?
The 'Hous-O-Matik Hom-O-Patik' (Remixes) will be released on March 18 via Rekids
