Azealia Banks is quitting social media for good
She's "seriously tired of people's feelings"
Azealia Banks is no stranger to being under siege over social media backlash.
Earlier this year, she was removed from a festival line-up, dropped from her record label and even investigated by the UK government over homophobic and racist comments.
Banks took to Facebook on Monday to announce she will be leaving all social media platforms that "allow her to engage with people."
She explains: "I'm seriously tired of people's feelings. I'm tired of seeing their overly sensitive reactions and responses to everything. I'm tired of having everything I say or do be mentioned and I'm tired of being told how I should be behaving. My legacy can't live and die on the internet."
Azealia Banks' Twitter had already been taken down. The artist's Facebook and Instagram are currently still active.
