Avicii has postponed all future tour dates for the rest of the year, stating instead he will "spend time trying to grow up."

This is the second year in a row he has cancelled tour dates, after last year where he underwent surgery to remove his gallbladder and appendix.

In a statement provided to Billboard, he claimed that a packed summer schedule, the release of his upcoming album 'Stories', and the directing of two of his recent music videos as reasons contributing to his decision.

The Swedish DJ made his directorial debut when he made the recent music videos for 'Pure Grinding' and 'For a Better Day'.

Both videos were released on August 28 and individually deal with the disturbing themes of gang culture and human trafficking.
