Avalon Emerson and Dorisburg remix Octo Octa's 'Adrift'
Out on San Fran label Honey Soundsystem later this month
Octo Octa is to release her track 'Adrift' as a single alongside remixes by Avalon Emerson and Dorisburg.
The 12-inch for 'Adrift', which originally appeared on the artist's latest album, 'Where Are We Going?', will come out via San Franscisco-based label Honey Soundsystem. Octo Octa, real name Maya Bouldry-Morrison, is based in Brooklyn and has been making lean, retro house since 2011. Her track 'Daylight' was one of our '33 Best Tracks Of The Year So Far'.
