ASTRYD reach a 'Blind Summit' on latest single
It’s also the title track off their upcoming EP
ASTRYD have released their single ‘Blind Summit’, a contemplative atmospheric track that begins in ambient and ends somewhere between electro and techno. The drums feel expansive and inviting, where the melody reaches above, aspiring and in flight.
‘Blind Summit’ will also be the title of ASTRYD’s forthcoming EP, which will arrive on March 12 2021 on their own Dialogue imprint.

ASTRYD is the artist project curated by the duo behind Dialogue, a party series in Bristol and London that has been running over the past four years. Focused on curating inclusive and safer spaces, they have previously booked guests like Akua, Giant Swan, object blue, Loraine James and Machine Woman.
Dialogue, as both a label and an event series, is built on the idea of creating communal and collaborative spaces to boost under-appreciated artists.

According to the accompanying press release, this ‘Blind Summit’ EP is structured around a central question: ‘How can we find and nourish the collective and find forms of resistance, when so much in our world is isolated and fragmented?’
Following the release of the EP, ASTRYD have planned an online event on Saturday March 20, featuring an afternoon discussion panel with queer collective OPULENCE and a Dialogue party.
