Mia Dora launch their new label Posterboy soon, and they've hit the ground running with their debut release from Ashworth, who released his debut LP 'Grain' on Needwant earlier this year and found favour with Joris Voorn, Groove Armada, Shadow Child and Citizenn.
The title track from his new EP isn't an ode to the shaving brand but a weighty and robust house cut that's full of tension and brooding darkness. 'Plinth' is a hazed-out and dubby affair that drifts into acid licks, and 'Lizard' is main room fodder with its meandering bassline and whirring synth drones.
We just wish there was a remix from Mia Dora.
