Apple Music offers discount to students
Students can now stream music for 50 per cent of the monthly cost
Apple Music is now making its services more accessible to university students around the world, offering a half price membership.
Following the lead of its competitor Spotify, the offer is now open to students in the UK at £4.99 a month and is also available in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Denmark and Germany. Worldwide prices will vary depending on the country.
Apple Music, which has gained a following of 13 million subscribers since it launched in June 2015, is now working in association with UNiDAYS to offer this discount to students who are enrolled at a university with a valid student ID.
