Apple Music celebrates one year with a major redesign
The makeover will be headed by Trent Reznor
Just in time for its first birthday, Apple Music has unveiled plans for a thorough renovation which will be headed by Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor.
Despite a late entrance into the streaming game, Apple Music managed to grab attention in most of the right ways and garner over 10 million paid subscribers within its first six months. However, general buzz about the platform itself has revealed major interface issues, which this redesign aims to tackle by making Apple Music more intuitive.
Several of the rumored pieces of Apple Music that will be at the focus of the revamp include Beats1 radio, which may expand and be relaunched later this summer. In addition, the redesign aims to better integrate its streaming and downloading sections and could be adding 3D touch shortcuts.
