Amtrac in The Lab LA
Re-watch this house takeover
The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. This Friday, we welcome Amtrac into The Lab LA.
First making his mark in the electronic realm with a slew of unstoppable remixes, Kentucky-native Amtrac has quickly risen beyond his ability to simply reinvent. He's gone on, graduating to defining his own sound with original releases, including his most recent 'Lost In Motion' EP.
His diverse range - which stems from his ability to take on tracks ranging from Two Door Cinema Club to RAC - has allowed Amtrac's signature house sound to carve its own pathway within the genre. His own originals have now become the subject of remix attention, including one from Chambray from his upcoming 'Lost In Motion' remix EP, which premiered today on Mixmag. Hear the track here.
On opening duties, we welcome Ravell, a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer that has received massive support from the likes of Kaskade, Galantis and Pete Tong. His latest release 'Do It Now' arrives on Kaskade's imprint Arkade. Hear the track here.
The Lab LA is strongly powered by Void Acoustics. Subscribe to Mixmag TV and tune in Saturday morning to watch Amtrac in The Lab LA.
The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together. Check out more from the Sound Collective here
