Amsterdam Dance Event announces first wave line-up for its 2023 edition
Folamour, Bicep, LSDXOXO, and many more, are heading to ADE
The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has just announced the first wave of artists set to perform at its 2023 showcase.
The gathering is set to take place from October 18 to October 22 and represents a number of electronic genres and subcultures across more than 1000 events in over 200 locations throughout the Dutch capital.
Organised by the Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation and working closely with its founding partner Buma, ADE has grown into the world's largest festival and business gathering for electronic music. It features cross-cultural representation from an extensive list of subgenres within electronic music and a dedicated conference and Arts & Culture programme.
The DJ’s and performances will be spread throughout the city, with a comprehensive programme structure being announced in the following months. The team promise a “bolder, spicier and larger than ever” event , “with the festival experience upgraded for all.”

Those amongst the first wave of names include French soulful house producer Folamour, beloved Belfast-born duo Bicep and British downtempo artist Bonobo.
New York City’s underground sensation LSDXOXO, known for “destroying dancefloors across the underground club scene with his energetic DJ sets” who's now based in Berlin, will also be joining the roster of acts. His cross genre fusions have amassed a huge following for the artist, with ravers flocking to the Floorgasm club night.
The Netherland's Chris Stussy, Belgium's Amelie Lens, Amsterdam's very own DIØN, and Italo disco sensations Nu Genea also feature on the roster.

The event has also just announced the addition of audio-visual and musical performances for the ADE conference programme. London-based producer Max Cooper will be hosting an immersive masterclass and audio-visual show detailing the intersection of science, music and art.
“Secret Artists in Residence” , which is a concept featuring unique artistic collaborations and live studio jam sessions, will also be returning to hold an exclusive event for this year's ADE pro visitors.
