Aloka and Dave N.A team up for collaborative 'Hypa' EP

Elicit Records has shared its latest EP this week: a collaborative body of work between Welsh artist Aloka and Armenia-based Dave N.A., 'Hypa'.

It's a particularly club-focused affair, comprised of two collaborative cuts and an additional track from each producer, described by the duo as "a combination of both our sounds and ideas fuelled by BBQ and vodka in Yerevan". Think drawings from jungle, breakbeat, techno, drum 'n' bass and even the spirit of 90s-era IDM.

"Absolutely thrilled to introduce 'Hypa', a heavy-weight linkup between Aloka & Dave N.A that promises to ignite dance floors worldwide," Elicit founders Kessler and Koboro tell Mixmag.

"The high-energy four tracker is packed to the brim with punchy bass weight, dynamic shifts, and pulsating beats. Hope you enjoy this one as much as we are!"

"This one’s already been doing serious damage across dance floors and we are incredibly gassed to finally get this out," Elicit added on its Instagram.
