Glass' former Crystal Castles bandmate Ethan Kath is suing her for defamation
Alice Glass was served a summons to appear in court, to face Ethan Kath’s defamation suit, by someone posing as a fan following a gig in Chicago at the weekend.
Glass published a detailed account accusing her former Crystal Castles bandmate of physical, psychological and sexual abuse last month.
In response Kath has filed a lawsuit claiming defamation, writing in a statement that Glass intended “ruin his good name and reputation in the industry, destroy Crystal Castles... and in turn boost her own career.”
Glass posted a photo of the court summons she was served in Chicago on Twitter, writing: “just got served after my show in chicago by someone pretending to be a fan. lol see you in court asshole.”
