ÄTNA share new escapist track 'Major Love'

Ahead of their forthcoming album landing this autumn, Dresden-based musical duo ÄTNA have released their new single 'Major Love'.

The cut is propelled on by gentle, luscious synths and delicate, harmonic vocals which ebbs and flows across its three-minute timespan.

“Think Air's ‘Moon Safari’ with the vibe of The XX blended in with Smoke City's ‘Underwater Love’," the pair explain on the track. "‘Major Love’ escapes our daily boredom for a trip for the senses in an ocean of flowers.

"After our appearance at the SXSW Festival in Austin, we embarked on a road trip through neglected areas of America that had been left to languish as a result of natural disasters. We spontaneously decided to stay and learn more about the people and their history.

"With the oyster diver, we finally decided to shoot a live video on the open sea in front of a 'graveyard' of abandoned oil rigs. We've always enjoyed shooting one-shot videos of our live performances, but this one was the most challenging in the blazing sun and the dizzying rocking of the fishing boat!’"
