Adidas Originals presents the EQT Documentary

A new four-minute short from Adidas Originals reflects on the enduring legacy of the iconic footwear brand's ‘Equipment Series’. This came to fruition after the brand analysed market competitors and decided to take a new direction from the oversaturated 'style over substance' offerings in the performance footwear industry during the 90s.

This led to the bold and brash decision to create stripped back, functional footwear, with performance, protection and comfort in mind.

A stripped back colour palette of green, white and black, along with asymmetrical design, fast made the EQT series a staple within the sports and streetwear community, and is one that’s still celebrated today.
