Acre meets 'Better Strangers' on debut album for Tectonic
His debut album comes out on November 13
Manchester-based producer Acre will release his debut album through Tectonic Recordings next month.
Continuing his year-long relationship with Pinch's Bristol label, he promises the 12-track collection will be more emotive than previous releases on labels such as Project 13 MCR, Cold Recordings and PAN x Codes, also explaining the reasoning behind the title.
"I tried to include more emotion in this album than my previous releases and wanted to represent a broader side of my productions.
"The title 'Better Strangers' comes from the feeling that some people make better strangers than friends (or better off being strangers) in your life, and the album is about recognizing that."
The rough-textured but swooning 'Love' is the only output from the record we've heard and you can listen to it below before the album is released on November 13.
