Ableton's released a production strategies book
Making Music is now available for $30
Ableton's released a book providing "solutions" to problems music producers come across.
Making Music - Creative Strategies for Electronic Music Producers will cost you $30 and is said to help music makers around "common roadblocks in the creative process", with an emphasis on advice about "finishing" what you've started.
Despite the company being known for its Ableton Live software, RA reports there's no mention of products throughout the text, purely focusing on production tips.
The book's website reads: "Electronic musicians used to be able to hide behind clunky, emerging technology as an excuse for inaction. But musicians today live in a golden age of tools and technology.
"But despite all of this, making music is still hard. Why? Making Music was written both to answer this question and to offer ways to make it easier. It presents a systematic, concrete set of patterns that you can use when making music in order to move forward."
