Ableton has announced the initial line-up for its three-day Loop event which takes place in Berlin from November 4 to 6.

Jamaican musician Lee Scratch Perry, who has worked with Bob Marley and The Wailers, will be giving talks, joined by pianist Suzanne Ciani and the likes of Moritz von Oswald, Jazzy Jeff, Morton Subotnick, Daedelus, Sougwen Chung and more.

Launched last year, Loop is an event for musicians to develop skills and learn from interactive talks, presentations and workshops which cover topics such as sampling and computer composition.

It all takes place at Funkhaus venue in Berlin and further line-up and programme additions are to be confirmed. Registration for Loop tickets ends July 20 and you can sign up here.
