ABBA to release first new music in 35 years
Let’s hope they’re not reuniting for the money, money, money
Swedish pop sensations ABBA have announced that they’ve written and recorded their first new music in 35 years.
Making the announcement on Instagram, the band said: “We all felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio. So we did. And it was like time had stood still and we had only been away on a short holiday. An extremely joyful experience!”
The new single 'I Still Have Faith in You' will be out in December but ABBA fans won’t have to wait too long for their next fix. The follow-up to the musical Mamma Mia starring Meryl Streep is out this summer.
The iconic foursome remembered for hits like 'Dancing Queen' first reunited on a forthcoming project which seems them recreated as avatars for an upcoming digital tour and TV special.
Looks like 2018 will be quite the year for ABBA fans.
