A "very rare" XL Recordings jacket is being sold on eBay
All proceeds go to the Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Society
A rare piece of 90s rave merchandise is up for sale on eBay, courtesy of Eamon Downes from Liquid.
Downes and Liquid partner Shane Heneghan scored a hit with XL Recordings release 'Sweet Harmony' in 1992, therefore receiving an XL jacket in line with the label's promise that artists who entered the UK top 20 would receive the limited edition garment.
Nearly 25 years on, Downes is selling the size large jacket, with all proceeds going to the SANDS (Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Society) charity. With six days of bidding left, it's sitting at £370 at the time of writing.
It's even tailored for the club, according to the description: "To add to its early 90s rave authenticity, there is a stash zip pocket in the back of the jacket (for putting your money and stuff in...yeah right)."
SANDS wrote: "We have to thank Eamon Liquid for donating this jacket to our charity. I know how much it meant / means to him so to let us have it really is an amazing gesture. Thank you mate x"
Head here to check it out or even put a bid in.
