A new audiovisual installation in Berlin will feature scores from Thom Yorke and Brian Eno

The Berlin Institute of Sound & Music has announced a stunning artist line-up will showcase their work in the ISM Hexadome: a new and immersive 360 degrees audiovisual installation at the Martin-Gropius-Bau museum in Berlin.

Running from March 29 to April 22 before hitting the road and touring throughout Europe and North America, the remarkable list of artists who have been enlisted to commit live performances and create installations for the space includes Brian Eno, Holly Herndon, Thom Yorke, Ben Frost and more.

Using visual projection architecture and an advanced multi-channel speaker, the forthcoming installation aims to demonstrate “the significance and power of spatialization for sound in complete harmony with immersive visual art and architecture”. The Berlin Institute of Sound & Music also recognizes this project as the first step in building “a museum in recognition of sound, immersive arts, and electronic music culture”.

Advanced tickets go on sale on February 20. Purchase them here
