A Mountain Of One release first new track in a decade, 'Custard's Last Stand'
It's mastered by Ricardo Villalobos and mixed by Dea Barandana
Experimental electronic duo A Mountain Of One release their new single ‘Custard’s Last Stand’ on August 6.
Recorded over Skype during the coronavirus pandemic, with Mo from the band now in Bali and Zeben in West London, it is a brilliant piece of work.
Mastered by Ricardo Villalobos and mixed by Dea Barandana, it’s released digitally and – of course – on vinyl. Part 2 is released August 27, and there is also a short film about the project, made by Daniel Lindegren.
The full release features a Dub Version from British/Barbadian dub master Dennis Bovell MBE, and another new cut 'Stars, Planets, Dust, Me'.
The forthcoming album will be released in autumn, with Ricardo Villalobos on mastering and remixing duties.
