A British teenager has died after being found in an Ibiza swimming pool
He was given CPR but couldn't be rescued
Spanish police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old after he was found in a swimming pool in Sant Josep, Ibiza.
Emergency services were called at around 3.10am on Sunday morning and the unnamed man was reportedly pulled from a private villa pool in an "unconscious state". He couldn't be revived by CPR.
An autopsy has been carried out by the Legal Medicine Institute of the courts of Ibiza to determine whether his body was intoxicated by drugs or alcohol.
The Foreign Office said: "We are providing assistance to the family of a British man who died on 8 July in Ibiza, and are in contact with the Spanish authorities."
Last year a 28-year-old British man fell to his death at the Jet Apartments in Playa d'en Bossa.
