The Jubilee weekend is predicted to see people spending £2.9 billion in pubs, bars, restaurants and takeaways which is equivalent to 712 million pints of beer.
As the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend approaches stats reveal that 52% of Brits have said they want the four-day weekend to be a permanent fixture
Figures estimated and gathered by VoucherCodes also reveal that the economy is said to have a £6.37 billion spend boost with £3.47 billion expected to be spent in retail stores.

£2.25 billion is set to be spent on food and drink alone which is equivalent to 187 million bottles of Pimms.
On average, 52% of Brits want to make the four-day Bank Holiday permanent with 62% of those under 35 saying it’s the best thing about the Jubilee with 61% of people aged 18-34 also agreeing.
It is also said that for 58% of people the lead cause for Jubilee excitement is the extra day off work.
