Tommy Four Seven has made a name on raw and savage techno. He makes the kind of music that hits listeners in the gut and mercilessly drowns them further in dry, callous soundscapes.

Having an output consisting of a single LP and plethora of 12” and single releases, Tommy Four Seven has a catalogue that forms a whole of aggressive club cuts and a large conceptual work with a meticulous attention to churning sound design.

In recent months, Tommy has been curating a regular Berlin club event entitled ‘47’, which comes paired with a series of EP release by various artists and a single track from himself. This go around the roster is lined with like-minded techno upstarts Shards, UVB and SNTS.

The premiering track and Tommy Four Seven’s own contribution ‘Scene 4’ comes in the form of a rollicking big room techno jam. The monstrous kick sustains momentum as metronomic chimes sit in the back of the stereo field with the occasional swath of metallic tones piercing through. ‘Scene 4’ is awfully stunning in its brevity and brisk tempo.

‘47004’ is set to be release on March 7 through the 47 imprint. The 47 club event is taking place at Arena Club in Berlin on February 26, more info here
