The always dynamic, never demure DJ Fart In The Club absconds into Arctic Circle hedonism on this live recording from her set at Finland’s Solstice Festival via The Lot Radio. Maneuvering floaty bleeps and bloops, ground-shaking dub, the kind of searing EBM that will have your eyes dithering in their sockets and an electro-charged edit of Run–DMC’s ‘It's Like That’ for good measure — this is one for partying until the sun goes down… or not.

Taking just a little bit of fallow away from this Glastonbury fallow year, Block9 worked to soothe our Worthy Farm-yearning souls with a selection of live recordings from last year’s knees-up in the naughty corner. One of the best is Barcelona’s ISAbella from the Genosys soundsystem stage, which features a euphoric mash-up of loop-on-loop hypnotics, fist-to-the-ceiling vocals and waft-worthy house rhythm. A year isn’t that long… right?

No decks needed here. DJ Travella does what he does best in the latest Elevator Music mix, bringing his full-force fusion of singeli and kuduro to the booth using just his laptop to blend between them. Without changing tempo, this set still ramps up the energy over the course of an hour of prime peak-time club dynamism.

Montreal’s Jump Source, AKA Patrick Holland and Priori, took the reins on The Mix in June, sharing a three-hour chunk of their set at LA’s Wellness Check party live from gallery and events space Canary Test where they went “one-for-one all-night-long”. This recording is packed with driving, low-slung rhythms, vocal numbers and high-energy cuts from the likes of DJ Slugo, Al Wootton, Tiga, and several of their own releases.

In what he says is “a moment I have dreamed of for so long”, rising UK DJ Bowlesy landed on Rinse FM after being tapped by Silva Bumpa last month, dropping a mix that traverses the breadth of bassline and garage house – almost 100% of which is unreleased material from himself and friends in the scene.

Ahead of Houghton’s return this summer, the festival has shared a selection of recordings from last year’s festivities. Our pick of the bunch comes from Peach, who rolls through 90 minutes of heads-down house, wonky acid lines, airy flute melodies, punchy electro, sultry vocals, and more, across a galvanising festival set. 

Fresh off releasing collaborative album ‘Critical Thot’, New Jersey-hailing DJ and producer DJ Haram and Bay Area-based rapper and producer sha ray have crafted a mix for POW MAG, building on the LP’s echoes and influences. sha ray curated 66% of the selections then DJ Haram took charge of the rest of the curation and mixing them all together. Across the 45 minutes runtime it moves with purpose through spiky rap bars, club-ready bass  leftfield beats, amid an array of varying moods and sonics.
