T_A_M’s grime-inflected beats have been turning heads, starting with the wobbly ‘Watty’ earlier this year. The Aberdeen-based producer is truly versatile, however, as recent releases ‘Silk/Sweat’ and last year’s ‘Damned If I Do’ prove, tackling house and techno in his own energetic style. On his debut album he threatens to change lanes again, reflecting the sombre life of the Granite City. With another EP with Tarquin due on Lit City Trax in June, T_A_M is gearing up for an interesting year.
