Tkay Maidza
Tkay Maidza’s unmistakable flow is taking her global. After Aussie station Triple J supported her track ‘Brontosaurus’ when she was 16, the Zimbabwean was signed to Kitsuné. Now 20, she’s worked with Run The Jewels’ Killer Mike on hip hop bubbler ‘Carry On’ and house producer Martin Solveig on summer crossover ‘Do It Right’. But it’s ‘Tennies’ and ‘Simulation’, highlights from hyperactive debut album ‘TKAY’, that could give M.I.A. and Azealia Banks a run for their money.
