Another Glastonbury is wrapped up, and we're feeling just a little bit contemplative about our five days on Worthy Farm. While the festival's main stage action arguably took a supporting slot for 2024, Glastonbury's dance music gems, putting on a stellar offering of underground electronic sounds, were more vibrant (and busy) than ever before.

Nowhere was this more apparent than the Pyramid-neighbouring Silver Hayes, run by Bristol-based party collective Team Love. It was clear from the field's opening on Thursday evening that something big was brewing, as crowds in their thousands gathered at Lonely Hearts Club for dubstep legends Skream & Benga's first Glastonbury set since they reunited in 2022— and from there, the appetite for this metallic field's unique offering didn't appear to let up until the wee hours of Monday morning.

There was more than one shutdown for Silver Hayes in 2024, with Levels, the linear structure that saw its debut last year, proving one of the most popular destinations for dancers wanting a bit of night-to-day action. Sets from Joy Orbison and Charli xcx proved to be a lock-off, while crowds stood high on their tiptoes as they queued to get a piece of Jyoty, Sampha and Lil Silva's extra special b3b on Sunday evening.

While these established arenas saw their share of footfall, so did Silver Hayes' brand new stage — Assembly, the field's first indoor venue. "It was amazing to further develop Silver Hayes for 2024," the team told Mixmag. "Assembly was so well received by both audiences and artists alike." And for good reason... described by a friend as looking like "the inside of a beyblade," Assembly nailed the feeling of being simultaneously at a festival and a club — with its ornate lighting overhead, and muted red lasers cutting through the murk at eye level, we expect the stage will be a must-visit for dance fans next year.

"The addition of ROOM brought mornings of wellness to the area for the first time," Team Love continues. "This year's programming saw some incredibly special moments take place across the field, with Charli xcx bringing Partygirl to The Levels, Skream & Benga uniting for their first UK festival show in over a decade and Jyoty, Sampha and Lil Silva uniting for a special b2b2b."

With all this in mind, you can see why we're anxious to relive some of the best action of Silver Hayes at Glastonbury 2024, but we understand that is because we made it down there and soaked in the vibes. But if you didn't, if you missed some of this year's sets either due to not making it down to Glastonbury - or you were unlucky enough to be held up in some of the weekend's queues - then soak up the vibes with some of the best images from the field this year, curated by us.

Enjoy!
