Sharam and Dean Fuel in The Lab Johannesburg
Two heroic selectors hit the decks at our new Lab location
Mixmag and BUDX are proud to partner to bring you the newest destination of the Lab this summer: The Lab Johannesburg.
On Wednesday, June 26 the Lab Johannesburg will showcase Grammy award-winning techno producer Sharam and South African legend Dean Fuel.
Sharam has been an innovator in the dance music scene for over 20 years, with a wide range of accomplishments under his belt including a Grammy for his remix of Dido’s track ‘Thank You’. He is known as a true innovator, never conforming to one particular style or genre while continuously changing his music and evolving as an artist. Day in and day out, Sharam continues to hone his skills as an internationally renowned producer, DJ and label head of the coveted Washington DC imprint, Yoshitoshi Records.
Dean Fuel has brought the energy to dancefloors and festival stages across Africa and the rest of the world for over a decade. With roots as a vinyl DJ, he has collaborated internationally with artists such as Ryan Murgatroyd, Headroom and Protoculture. The distinctive style he brings to the decks is fueled by a love of versatility as he moves through underground techno, trance and even progressive house.
Catch the live stream of Sharam's set on our Facebook page on Thursday, June 27 and Dean Fuel's on Monday, July 1.
BUDX is global platform that supports and spotlights outstanding creative minds in music and culture from around the world.
