Santanna Oush talks empowering women in Ibiza and being a San Miguel Seeker
The harmony between beats and discovery is found with San Miguel's Here's To The Seekers campaign, combining Ibiza's legendary nightlife with the spirit of exploration
The effervescent Santanna Oush is a force to be reckoned with in the Ibiza party scene. The London-born DJ is the founder and motor behind the OuShe party, an event that consistently encapsulates and celebrates fierce feminine energy and rising talent. On top of being a platform promoting budding tastemakers, her spectacles have been joined by international guests and DJs such as KI/KI, Laeet, Inca Jones, Dani Pyne and Love Missiles, all playing to the much-loved club Pikes' Sunset Terrace.
This summer, she’s been an ambassador for San Miguel's ‘Here’s to The Seekers’ campaign, which celebrates the spirit of adventure and discovery through the lens of the luxurious White Isle lifestyle. Think fresh fruit, crystal water, elegant clothing and glasses of appetising golden beer, all soundtracked to transcendent deep house under the warm Spanish sunshine. The campaign pays homage to the friendships, memories and experiences that sprout under Ibiza’s warm blue skies, breezy evenings and bustling nights; you could be fiercely scaling the mesmerising El Torcal de Antequera in the afternoon and on the loungers of a beachfront club a few hours later.
Santanna was involved in the launch and experiences at Casa San Miguel; a marvellously authentic finca style villa boasting jaw dropping architectural detailing, complemented by fully working San Miguel taps (in three flavours!) and a raised outdoor pool.
The villa serves as the physical manifestation of the Seekers experience, and San Miguel also offered 24 lucky UK competition winners and a plus one the chance to win an all expenses paid trip to the infamous island as part of their nationwide promotional campaign, including a private chef and boat tour.
On the ‘Here’s to The Seekers’ campaign, director of marketing Dharmesh Rana said “Here’s to the Seekers perfectly encompasses the Spanish seeking spirit of adventure. We know our audience value experiences more than ever, with 59% of UK adults stating they enjoy escaping reality in their leisure time.
“The Spanish way of life; living with passion and spontaneity resonates with consumers and Spain was voted the most popular holiday destination in 2022.”

Tell us about your involvement with San Miguel this summer?
This summer San Miguel is celebrating adventure and speaking to those who value experiences and are thirsty for life - which I can relate to! I have been involved with the launch of Casa San Miguel - an authentic finca style villa that has popped up in the heart of Ibiza. The brand has curated an epic itinerary for those lucky enough to visit, with sharing tapas dinners against the iconic Ibiza sunset, a private boat tour across the beautiful coastline with paddleboarding in the stunning clear waters and more. I have been helping San Miguel ensure everyone discovers Ibiza’s hottest spots to create amazing golden hours for everyone, enhanced by having an ice cold beer in hand!
You also run the OuShe party at Pikes, which is a “celebration of raw feminine energy all night”, why is it important to have an event like this in Ibiza?
The music scene has been male dominated for a long time. I've created this platform to empower super talented women. Half of the DJs I personally taught how to play during COVID and this experience is giving them the opportunity to share their life music collection at the most iconic venue on the island. It's pretty cool that some of their first ever gigs are at Pikes and now most of them are fully booked for gigs all summer so OuShe is definitely doing what I set out to do for them!
If you could pick one track that defines Ibiza this summer, what would it be?
'Tokyo Business (Inca Jones Remix)' by Tigerbalm and Joy Tyson. This track is just so groovy that it fits into every gig wherever I play in some way. Both girls [Inca Jones and Tigerbalm] are dear friends of mine and part of the OuShe Collective which makes it extra special.
How do you live life passionately in Ibiza?
I love coming together with my friends to explore and to create memories, whether that’s over dinners, incredible Ibiza hikes, out on the water or with music. We love to adventure and seek out new finds!
What do you love exploring in Ibiza?
Beaches, stunning views, new restaurants, and I love discovering the best sunset spots.
Where is your favourite hidden spot on the island and why?
Amante, for dinner on the edge of a cliff. It's the most romantic spot on the island and the food is simply exquisite. I do also love a drink at Sunset Ashram during that special golden hour - the perfect location for a San Miguel beer of course too!
Where is best to watch the sunset?
Punta Galera hands down.
How does Ibiza allow you to live your life the way you want to live it?
It's pretty hard to get stressed here with the most gorgeous beaches on your doorstep. I live in the north, it's so calm & easy to feel inspired. The island covers everything you could ever want from yoga to meditation, healing, gong baths and spas to cave parties, beach bars, underground experiences and more. All of the above is the way I love to live while keeping the balance of course!
