Roland and Puma have got a second 808-inspired collaboration on the way
It'll drop on August 8 (808 Day)
After unveiling their first sneaker collaboration, the RS-0, back in April of this year, Roland Corporation and Puma have announced a second TR-808-inspired sneaker - the RS-100.
Noted as "a story of reinvention" that is "inspired by the past, shaped by the colorful histories of both brands and reimagined for the future," this epic collaboration is bound to get both gearheads and sneakerheads lining up down the block.
The RS-100 is given a vibrant clash of coloring that is meant to represent the ‘80s retro hues found on a Roland TR-808 drum machine. The sneaker has lines that mimic the lights on a synthesizer, white reflective edges and the words “Rhythm Composer TR-808, Computer Composer” printed on the heel.
The RS-100 and the RS-0 drop around the globe on August 8, 2018 - a day that is internationally recognized as #808DAY.
