In pictures: Block9 showcases the brain-melting, brazen best that Glastonbury has to offer in 2025
Naughty Corner stalwart Block9 was once again a bastion of incredible stage design, cutting-edge music and raucous late-night antics this year – as the field kicked off its first-ever daytime block party
For Glastonbury-goers, there's nothing quite like Block9, is there? In 2025, the beloved naughty corner staple once again dished out an eye-watering offering that featured breathtaking production, pinch-yourself visuals and out-of-this-world sonics from a line-up of dance music's new and old favourites.
This year saw Block9 put on its first-ever day-time block parties on Saturday across its beloved on-site queer venue NYC Downlow and the futuristic, blocky Genosys Stage. Kicking off the afternoon fun on Saturday was Don Letts on the Genosys Stage, followed by Hot Chip, Fatboy Slim, Jayda G and a surprise appearance from DJXXYZ — AKA Jamie xx. While over at NYC Downlow, dancers traded sweating in the sunshine for sweating on the dancefloor, all soundtracked by Melle Brown, Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter.

Block9's famed IICON was the setting for some of the field's most highly-anticipated sets this year, including Blawan, Pearson Sound, Two Shell, Nia Archives and Juan Atkins' Cybotron — with the stage's incredible physical form and upgraded visual array providing the perfect backdrop for early morning dancing. While NYC Downlow played host to a very special classic house set from Deep Dish, alongside an unmissable hour-and-a-half from Downlow favourite, Prosumer.
To relive some of the best moments from Block9 at this year's Glastonbury, we've compiled some of the best images taken throughout its five-day run — from sweat dripping in the Downlow to the awe-eliciting presence of the IICON stage. Check them out below.
