Bangface Weekender 2020 is back at Southport Holiday Park across March 12 to 16 this year, bringing together a cataclysmic concoction of neo-rave chaos.

If you watched our 2018 documentary, you’ll know Bangface is like no other festival. It’s a maniacal playground where almost anything goes and thousands of punters get loose to a soundtrack of acid, jungle, rave, hardcore, drum ‘n’ bass, gabber, breakcore, bass, techno, rap, electronica and more. Sometimes all within one set.

Artists playing this year’s edition include Squarepusher, Helena Hauff, Fabio & Grooverider, Venetian Snares, Altern 8, DJ Rap, Sherelle, Luke Vibert, Partiboi69, Sentimental Rave, Ceephax Acid Crew and Brain Rays.

To get in the mood, Brain Rays has linked up with fellow Wrong Music affiliates and disruptive performance artists Tricky Second Album to piece together an outrageous mix of anarchic sounds which you can listen to below. It features their own material, bangers from the likes of Sega Bodega and S-Type, and audacious edits of anthems by Da Hool, Charli XCX and the Spice Girls.
