Inside the new 8,500-capacity Berlin club and music venue, FOUND
The Tempelhof-Schöneberg venue, which was occupied by KitKatClub from 2001 to 2004, opened last weekend with a marathon party from Watergate
A new nightclub and music venue named FOUND has launched within a former brewery in Tempelhof-Schöneberg, Berlin.
The 8,500-capacity venue opened over the weekend (June 27) with a marathon open-air party from the team behind the city's now-shuttered Watergate. The likes of Interplanetary Criminal, DJ Heartstring, THC and DJ Spit performed across two stages, named Shelter and Hall.
Billed as a "space for constant transformation", FOUND takes over the former Schultheiss brewery once occupied by KitKatClub between 2001 and 2004, which has since been operating as an events location under the name Malzfabrik.

According to Resident Advisor, Malzfabrik's management was handed over to events specialist Mika Schröter earlier this year, who told the publication: "What attracted us to the space was the combination of industrial heritage and cultural history. You can still feel the different layers of its past, and we see FOUND as the next chapter in that story."
The 50,000 m² complex boasts multiple spaces, both indoor and outdoor, with a "lush garden" and "covered dancefloors" for events. Check out a selection of images from the newly-launched venue below.
