Super Bowl Sunday is serious business, but things can take a turn for the worse when the team one is rooting for starts to lose. Atmospheres can become thickly awkward when respective groups start to feel the heat. So here's five feel-good tracks to lift the tension when America's biggest game day inevitably goes downhill for one unlucky team.

'He Is The Voice I Hear' by The Black Madonna

The Black Madonna's latest 'He Is The Voice I Hear' is the first official release off her new label We Still Believe and the epitome of positive funk. The uplifting tune features instrumentals from David Rossi and Christoforo LaBarbera and brings on TBM's true disco roots. Perfect for when the voice you don't want to hear drops, the referee calling that bullshit penalty.

'Eye Luv U' by Tiga

Label-head Tiga brings a new release on Turbo titled 'Eye Luv U'. The production is the Montreal artist's first original since his 2016 'Blondes Have More Fun' and holds a heartwarming message when morale is low. Word play might be the only thing to lighten foul play, especially if you put money on it.

'Somewhere' by The Deepshakerz and Marck Jamz

The tech-house rhythm of 'Somewhere' comes through a collaboration between The Deepshakerz and Marck Jamz. Out now on Cajual, the track's light percussion and hypnotizing, monotone lyrics will rise that tap in the foot. If there's one thing to bring joy to a low day, its a solid dance track.

Leopard Eats Luke's edit of Red Rack'em's 'Wonky Bassline Disco Banger'

Luke Solomon, Eats Everything and Lord Leopard join forces on the massive edit of Red Rack'em's 'Wonky Bassline Disco Banger' as the trio Leopard Eats Luke. The elevated disco work, released via Classic Music Company, gets the special treatment from the Bristol artists who rise with the production's intruiging chopped bassline. A serious triple team effort may make up for that one team's fumble.

'Show You The Way' by Thundercat featuring Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins

This one's for those final moments. The score is down with seconds left on the clock and defeat has soundly been accepted. Moping, or crying, is in the immediate future but at least there is a proper song to longingly stare into the distance to. Thundercat's 'Show You The Way' with Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins is a smooth, soothing title for when times are dark, thinking of what could have been. Chin up, there's always next year.
