Because there's nothing better than some killer tracks
In an attempt to cheer up the 48% 'remain' voters in the UK, we've pulled some of our favourite bits of music from our European friends.
So let's celebrate some of this musical goodness that has come out of Europe in the last few months. UK may not be part of the EU for much longer, but we can still dance together, right?
Remix from German producer
German producer Frank Wiedemann, also known as one half of Âme and co-founder of Innervisions, remixes Petar Dundov's ‘The Lattice'. Wiedemann chops up the winding original and repackages it into a tighter framework with spacey synth stabs and a more prominent kick.
An Italian and Swede make music in Stockholm
Joseph Capriati teams up with another daddy of dance music, Adam Beyer, on their new EP. Recorded in Beyer's Stokholm studio, this is one of the tracks doing the most damage in their sets.
Tribute to Frankfurt's sound from Hamburg's Hauff
She says: "It's a little tribute to the sound of Frankfurt of the late 80's early 90's (Dorian Gray Club/Torsten Fenslau), which became very influential on trance!
"I've been digging this stuff for years now and I thought it might be nice to put it all in a mix together."
Italian producer Fango
Fango's EP has been a top choice for some of the world's most revered selectors and it's easy to see why. Videos of Dixon dropping the questionably-named 'Rectum' at Junction 2 lit up Facebook and the crowds visibly lost their shit.
Here's a premiere from the same 'Viscera' EP. It's been included in Jackmaster's upcoming DJ Kicks mix and it's a real gem.
Berliner's debut EP
Ziúr co-runs the BOO HOO party in Berlin with Joey Hansom and has been quietly making tracks that can be described, simply, as thrilling.
Her mutations blend hunks of techno, trance and noise and can be placed among club-not-club wave, though her productions sound like little else out there.
Premiere from Parisian Shonky
Shonky knows exactly how to get a crowd moving. His 'Plombière' EP is loaded with four tracks of straight fire and 'Percheé' is our exclusive below.
The standout track on the label's 25th release bumps along with a wriggling groove and shifts in and out of focus with tantalising builds and drops that melt when they arrive.
Soulful track from Dutch standout
Maintaining his rising momentum thanks to a Bicep-fueled launch off, Dutch output Anil Aras returns with a follow up to 'Dance MF'.
Demanding and pounding straight out of the gate, 'Every Day (I Need U)' embodies a robust soulful feel even before featured vocalist Alex Mills chimes in with a glowing vocal hook.
