BUDX heads to Tokyo
Three days of events and parties in Tokyo
BUDX is a global program, in collaboration with Mixmag, that will unite and spotlight outstanding creative minds in music and culture in some of the leading cities around the world.
Following on from our BUDX events in Paris, Ho Chi Minh City and Lagos, we’re pleased to announce that the next stop on our global tour will take us to Tokyo in Japan between August 29-31.
For three days, we will host a series of panels, workshops and DJ sets from both local cultural leaders and esteemed artists from around the world. We’ll be exploring subjects like innovative Japanese fashion, Tokyo's film industry, media design, 90s club culture and much more.
Tokyo is regarded as an immersive hub for art, fashion, film and music. Today the city is brimming with creative artists taking iconic motifs of the past and bringing them into the future with an innovative approach. With Tokyo being one of the most awe-inspiring cities in the world, BUDX and Mixmag will spotlight the very best from past, present and future.
As a true cultural platform, BUDX aims to amplify the voices and stories of rising artists to seize new, energizing opportunities, encouraging creators to rise up and Be a King.
Alongside workshops, art installations and masterclasses from the best in the business, you can expect DJ sets and performance’s from the biggest, best and newest talent from around the world. That’s a Mixmag promise.
