Last year Ukrainian festival Brave! Factory caught our eye with its impressive line-up and industrial rave setting, and it’s back in business for another edition this summer.

Taking place across August 25 to 26 in the capital city Kiev, the weekend event will see the likes of DVS1, DJ Bone, Fred P, Jane Fitz, Apollonia, Binh, Nicolas Lutz, Alexandra, DJ Stingray (pictured) and Apollonia on deck.

Yves Tumor, Carlo Intelecto, Floating Points, Tolkachev, Panthu Du Prince, Kangdin Ray and Mykki Blanco feature among the artists performing live.

The festival is spread across six stages covering 50,000 square metres in the functioning metro carriage factory Kyivmetrostroi, with art installations galleries, urban cultures and cafes also on site.

Talking about the festival, organisers said: “It’s a unique happening both for Ukraine and for the neighbouring countries. We wanted to make a festival like we would do for our closest friends. We observed how it works in different parts of the world, gathered this experience, invited those artists that we’ve never invited before as well as those that are our regulars and that never fail to amaze the local audience. We’re just building the dream by doing something really cool and worthwhile. We wanted to give people something they’ve never had before and we took this risk.”

Tickets are on sale now, head to brave-factory.com for further details and keep up to date via the Facebook event.
