It's a warm Saturday evening on the outskirts of Brooklyn as a gathering of ravers pack into a tight plot of land with a single, towering stage. There's a strong buzz in the air, everyone is clearly filled with anticipation and excitement to see world renowned talent Carl Cox, who is back in NYC almost exactly one year to the day he was last. This evening is particularly special however, as local party organizers Teksupport have put on an open-air event with a stacked lineup including Frankie Bones, Dense & Pika and Avision. Right from the start, there was a relentless energy that permeated throughout the crowd. This brand of house and techno has the ability to emit an infectious energy, especially when curated by this strong cast.
The sold-out event marked the start of the summer season for Teksupport, the budding crew behind some of Brooklyn's most awe-inspiring mega-raves. After parties with Adriatique and Solomun in March and April, they took May off only to storm back with Carl Cox in June. Next up is another highly anticipated event with an extended set from Len Faki who will be joined by a lineup including Ambivalent, Vaal, Phil Moffa and Cry Baby on July 7. All eyes on the future.
