Just a few days into 2017 and only barely recovered from holiday celebrations, it's time to direct your attention to the event that kicks off the year unlike any other - The BPM Festival. For 10 full days in the paradisal Playa Del Carmen, over 400 artists flock to the Mexico escape and bring their finest tracks and peers with them, totaling to over 80 showcases and a seemingly endless possibility of memorable times with the best of the underground.

With that many parties to attend, it's important now to begin the meticulous process of planning. Mixmag has gone ahead to list out 10 of the best parties across January 6 through the 15 for your convenience.

We'll see you on the Playa.

All Day I Dream

When: January 7, 12pm to 9pm
Where: Martina Beach Club
Who: Lee Burridge, Hoj, Lost Desert
Why: It seems as though Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream experience could be cut and made especially for a setting as idyllic as the beaches of Mexico. With Hoj and Lost Desert in tow, Burridge's All Day I Dream is the perfect way to kick off what's set to be a hectic run through The BPM Festival. Nice and easy does it.

Mixmag Presents YA'AHL MUUL

When: January 7, 10pm to 6am
Where: The Jungle
Who: Carl Cox, Art Department, Steve Lawler, Victor Calderone, Francesca Lombardo
Why: There's no party like a Mixmag party, which is exactly why we chose to spend our Saturday evening with King Cox out in the jungle for YA'AH MUUL. Of course, with eight hours of music programmed, you bet the talent will be equally vicious thanks to the likes of talents that range from Art Department to Francesca Lombardo. Don't miss it - you know we'll be there.

Dusky Presents

When: January 10, 12pm to 9pm
Where: Canibal Royal
Who: Dusky, Fort Romeau, Denis Sulta, Bwana
Why: Though 2016 may be behind us, it's hard to forget Dusky's massive year with the release of 'Outer', making their upcoming BPM showcase an anticipated event that'll serve as a proper way for the duo to break freshly into 2017. Joined by Fort Romeau, Denis Sulta and Bwana, the day-to-night party happens at Canibal Royal.

Paradise

When: January 12, 8pm to 6am
Where: The Jungle
Who: Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber, Denny Tenaglia, Jackmaster, Lee Foss, Skream, Stacey Pullen, Andrea Oliva
Why: Time and time again, Jamie Jones has proven that his party series Paradise is a guaranteed good time. The aptly titled event returns to The BPM Festival along with a squadron of massive names that range from Jackmaster to Skream to Nicole Moudaber and plenty more. It's set to be an all-nighter. Be ready!

Solomun +1

When: January 13, 12pm to 9pm
Where: Martina Beach Club
Who: Solomun, Butch
Why: There's no shortage of Solomun throughout the week of BPM, but any veteran knows that Solomun +1 is the statement party that you can't miss. With over nine hours scheduled and only two talents listed, it takes someone as tried and true as Solomun hand-in-hand with Butch to keep the crowd going and grooving all day long.

Nicole Moudaber Presents MOOD

When: January 14, 10pm to 6am
Where: Blue Parrot
Who: Nicole Moudaber b2b Chris Liebing, Coyu, Julia Govor, Victor Calderone
Why: Nicole Moudaber is yet another staple of The BPM Festival. Combine her mastery of the decks with the all hallowed closing weekend of the 10-day long festival and you've got yourself a MOOD party that'll be one for the books. Moudaber is going back-to-back with Chris Liebing after opening slots from Coyu, Victor Calderone and Julia Govor.

Plus Plus

When: January 14, 10pm to 6am
Where: La Santanera
Who: Dennis Ferrer, Hector Moralez, Louie Fresco and more
Why: It just wouldn't be right to arrive in Playa Del Carmen and not find time to appreciate the country's booming pool of talent. A great place to start is Plus Plus at The BPM Festival, which brings together an impressive list of native standouts including Dennis Ferrer, Hector Moralez, Louie Fresco, Mejia and many more.

YA'AH MUUL II

When: January 14, 10pm to 6am
Where: The Jungle
Who: Seth Troxler b2b The Martinez Brothers b2b Loco Dice, Guy Gerber, Kenny Glasgow, Lauren Lane and more
Why: After bringing in the opening weekend of The BPM Festival with Mixmag and Carl Cox, return again to The Jungle for the second YA'AH MUUL edition, this time headlined by a major and rare b2b2b with Seth Troxler, The Martinez Bros and Loco Dice, along with Guy Greber, Lauren Lane, Kenny Glasgow and a handful of other mega talents. There's plenty happening on this Saturday evening, but thankfully a 10pm to 6am range leaves plenty of time for you to sort your party hopping schedule.

elrow

When: January 15, 10pm to 6am
Where: Blue Parrot
Who: Technasia, Santé, Sidney Charles, De La Swing, George Privatti and secret guests
Why: There's promise of some big surprises to take place at Blue Parrot on the final day of The BPM Festival. A promise like that doesn't come lightly, especially from the likes of party series elrow, so we'd recommend you get sorted for this one ASAP. Already, Technasia, Santé and Sidney Charles, De La Swing and George Privatti are confirmed!

Desert Hearts presents Playa Hearts

When: January 15, 12pm to 9pm
Where: Canibal Royal
Who: Rodriguez Jr., Andreas Henneberg, Doc Martin feat Sublevel, Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs and Porkchop
Why: 2016 was quite the year for the Desert Hearts crew, who made their mark as a rising and top-tier group of talents to keep an eye on in the new and developing house realm. It's only fitting, then, that they make their official BPM showcase debut with Playa Hearts to cap off the week with a strong showing including their residents Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs and Porkchop as well as Rodriguez Jr., Andreas Henneberg and Doc Martin with a live performance with Sublevel. Don't forget your glitter!
