Just a few days into 2017 and only barely recovered from holiday celebrations, it's time to direct your attention to the event that kicks off the year unlike any other - The BPM Festival. For 10 full days in the paradisal Playa Del Carmen, over 400 artists flock to the Mexico escape and bring their finest tracks and peers with them, totaling to over 80 showcases and a seemingly endless possibility of memorable times with the best of the underground.

With that many parties to attend, it's important now to begin the meticulous process of planning. Mixmag has gone ahead to list out 10 of the best parties across January 6 through the 15 for your convenience.

We'll see you on the Playa.

All Day I Dream

When: January 7, 12pm to 9pm
Where: Martina Beach Club
Who: Lee Burridge, Hoj, Lost Desert
Why: It seems as though Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream experience could be cut and made especially for a setting as idyllic as the beaches of Mexico. With Hoj and Lost Desert in tow, Burridge's All Day I Dream is the perfect way to kick off what's set to be a hectic run through The BPM Festival. Nice and easy does it.

Mixmag Presents YA'AHL MUUL

When: January 7, 10pm to 6am
Where: The Jungle
Who: Carl Cox, Art Department, Steve Lawler, Victor Calderone, Francesca Lombardo
Why: There's no party like a Mixmag party, which is exactly why we chose to spend our Saturday evening with King Cox out in the jungle for YA'AH MUUL. Of course, with eight hours of music programmed, you bet the talent will be equally vicious thanks to the likes of talents that range from Art Department to Francesca Lombardo. Don't miss it - you know we'll be there.
